The Department of Commerce at Lok Mahavidyalaya Wardha has been functioning since the establishment of college who is committed to providing quality education in the field of Commerce and Management. Lok Mahavidyalaya offer undergraduate (UG) program (B. Com) in two specializations’ (Business Management and Business & Finance) as well as Postgraduate (PG)program (M. Com) in (Business Studies) group. The department aims to develop students’ academic knowledge, professional competencies and practical skills required to succeed in the dynamic business environment.

The department offer students a strong foundation in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship and related areas of Commerce along with classroom teaching by using technological teaching aids. The Department encourages students to participate in seminar, group discussion, workshop, project, industrial visit, internship, co- curricular activities and research-oriented activities.

The faculty members are dedicated to nurturing students through effective teaching, Mentoring and continuous academic guidance. And special focus on developing communication skill, ethical thinking, leadership, decision making, entrepreneurial abilities and Ethical Values.

The department is guided by the Principal Dr. Mahendra Sahare .and the Head of the department Dr. Avinash M. Sahurkar with the valuable co-operation of Dr A.K.J. Mansuri, Dr. B.P. Ghaisas, Prof. Ganesh Kakani, Prof. Aboli R. Mithe, Prof. Namrata S Sharma, Prof. Himani R. Urkande, Prof. Suchita G Bhute.
